Manufacturing Capacity by 50%
Woodland Hills, CA - ASI/Silica Machinery, LLC
today announced that it has increased its manufacturing
capacity by 50%. To support this capacity increase
it has acquired additional space at its Woodland
Hills manufacturing site.
According to Gordon Gould, the Company's Director
of Manufacturing, "We are extremely pleased
to have this additional capacity which enables
us to continue providing our customers with
an unblemished record of on-time deliveries
since we opened the Woodland Hills plant nearly
one year ago."

Machinery adds, "This expansion allows us to
continue serving our customers' requirements
by providing delivery times that are about half
the current industry lead time for commercial
optical fiber preform manufacturing equipment."

effective capital equipment to manufacturers
of optical fiber and fused silica preforms.

preforms to lower their cost of manufacturing
